Highs and Lows

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I start in July at my hometown hospital!!!! Not only will I be starting my first job as an RN at the hospital where I was born (my sister too!) and the great thing is that after the training and preceptor etc. we can figure out whichever area to work in, depending on openings! I am definitely hoping for Mother/Baby, Nursery, Cardiac, or Oncology. My #1 forever and ever goal is NICU but there isn't one at the hospital. So glad I don't have to settle down and stick with a specific floor just yet! Also, this means I will be leaving my beach town, where I've lived since the summer of 2006 (almost 5 years wow!) and moving back one hour west, to my hometown where my family, friends, and boyfriend and his family all are. I graduate May 7th, and taking a NCLEX review on May 16-19 and then officially moving back 100%! I'll slowly bring my things back, but it's also going to be a transition because I normally stay at my parents house on the weekends and holiday breaks, but am going to be getting an apartment on my move back. So even though I semi-moved out (I have bedroom furniture, clothes, etc. still at my home because I go back and forth fairly frequently), it will be a complete move out and will def be a transition. Granted I'm almost 23, but it will still be kind of hard.
I can't wait to see what God has in store for this next chapter of my life, and finally living my dream as an RN!

However, my low was my Renal test today and making the lowest grade I've EVER made college-wise (or ever for that matter, considering i was a good high school student!!) I was sooo upset, crying, freaking out etc. and even though it didn't change my average all that much, I've been doing soooo well this semester and it was definitely a reality check. I have one more test to go before the final and am hoping and praying and will be frequenting the library like whoa! Please pray for me guys and thanks for all your support!!!

xoxo, Hannah
